Self Catering Lodges, Rowardennan, Loch Lomond
6 miles north from the waterside village of Balmaha, Rowardennan is on the east shores of Loch Lomond. The private site on which these Loch Lomond log cabins sit is right by the loch side. This is the quieter side of Loch Lomond. The road is not a major route north and ends at the car park a few hundred meters further along by the old Rowardennan Pier and is famous for the West Highland Way taking walkers north and south beneath Ben Lomond nearby.
At the southern end of the Scottish Highlands, Loch Lomond is certainly one of the world’s, and Scotland’s, most stunning and internationally renowned locations. The United Kingdom’s largest expanse of fresh water is now part of Scotland’s first National Park – an area where for hundreds of years, visitors journey to, enjoy spectacular scenery, sail, walk and climb – and simply breathe fresh air away from the towns and cities.
There are 38 lodges on the estate and all are privately owned. Some owners are also happy to provide pet friendly log cabins here on Loch Lomond.
This web site represents just a few which are let out for self catering by their owners. Many of the lodges that are rented are also used by their owners for their own breaks and holidays from time to time.
